Welcome to the Boys & Girls Club of Langlade County
  The Boys & Girls Club Announces its First Annual Summer Camp.
The Boys & Girls Club of Langlade County is announcing its first annual “Boys & Girls Club Summer Camp”. The B&GC Summer Camp schedule runs from June 8th through August 28th, 2009, (Monday-Friday, 7:30am-5:00pm). The cost for Summer Camp is $1.00 per day, per child. This covers the cost of B&GC Summer Camp only and is in addition to our $15.00, yearly membership dues.
Summer Camp includes: a free breakfast and lunch daily (following USDA food pyramid health standards); weekly arts & crafts and nutrition classes; several scheduled field-trips and off-site activities; math, reading, and educational opportunities; plus a plethora of fun programs and activities within our 5 Core Areas, designed to keep our members’ bodies and minds active and engaged throughout the summer months. In order to address our ever-growing daily attendance numbers and the costs associated with an increased need for staffing, programs supplies, and facility maintenance, we have decided to make our “Summer Camp” programming fee-based.
